Representation specialists Mundus has raised £1650 for event industry charity Meeting Needs through their showcase at Leaf & Cane at the Hyatt Regency Blackfriars.
With 18 suppliers networking with 75 clients, the Mundus fund-raising came from a raffle on the night with DMCs and hotels donating some incredible prizes from European city breaks to full Kruger National Park safaris.
Mundus´s Wayne Redman said: “Mundus is proud to be partner of Meetings Needs and wanted to take this opportunity to share our alliance and give back by raising funds for our industry´s charity foundation.”
This was the first fund-raiser in support of Meeting Needs by Mundus. Meeting Needs vice chair Lene Corgan said: “We are really grateful for Mundus´s efforts on our behalf and the cash will be put to good use. Participants were pleased with the use of the “Tap to Pay” feature on the phones to buy tickets and happy they could easily get receipts immediately.”
