MEETING NEEDS is the event industry´s charity foundation established 22 years ago to support life-changing projects in the UK and around the world with funds raised from within the meetings and events industry. Our strict due diligence process ensures that funds deliver the  maximum impact to as many people as possible and millions of pounds have helped those in need, delivering food, medicines, protection, education and safe accommodation to every continent.

After serving us wonderfully for nearly 10 years, our magnificent treasurer & company secretary, Brian Kirsch, is standing down. He will be missed but he leaves our finances and administration in tip-top condition. Meeting Needs chair Lene Corgan said: “We are now searching for a replacement to take up this important honorary voluntary position. Our sincere thanks to Brian for his almost 10 years of thoughtful financial leadership as treasurer of Meeting Needs. His contribution has played an important role in the impact we create together and his grip on legal and financial issues has ensured tight and professional administration of the foundation.”

The role combines management of income and expenditure and banking with compliance with legal procedures. Attendance of virtual and/or physical board meetings is required four times per annum with occasional events in London. In total it is estimated that the role requires no more than three hours per month working from home.
