Thanks to the generosity of our industry friends, SITE GB raised an incredible £15,072 at the annual Christmas Lunch on 19th December at the Leonardo Royal St. Pauls London.
The event was truly a collaboration across the industry, with SITE GB members generously donating over 40 prizes to go toward the raffle. With the support of the SITE Young Leaders, Meeting Needs representatives sold so many raffle tickets that they had to run to the high street to buy more books in the middle of the event. The raffle ticket sales alone raised almost enough to fund a full project.
However, SITE didn’t stop there, reserving some of the most exclusive prizes for a live auction. The prizes encouraged eventprofs to dig deep and raised another £10,000. Meet Vancouver created an incredible prize of 2x flights to Vanouver including 8 nights donated by hotel partners—2 nights at the JW Marriott, 2 nights at the Sheraton Wall, 2 nights at the Fairmont PAC Rim and 2 nights at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. The prize was so popular it raised almost enough to fund a project by itself!
