ZiaBia is an event consultancy based in the South West of England that works with clients across the UK and globally, adding our ZiaBia touch along the way.
With a wealth of experience, a passion for excellence and a zing of creativity, ZiaBia was established in 2012 to create an event agency that focuses on relationships first and with a priority of supporting clients achieve their goals by delivering inspiring events. We are a team of 9 from different backgrounds and passionate about this fabulous industry!
We support Meeting Needs because we love that there is the opportunity for small charities to receive a donation or a grant and that we can nominate those we know. As a team we discuss who can be considered for nomination and can see the difference a grant can make in both our community and further afield. It is amazing to see the combined efforts that the hospitality industry can achieve!
Our team has currently got lots of fundraising ideas we are working towards over the next 6 months for Meeting Needs. These include the Bath Half Marathon and a Pen Y Fan climb! Watch this space – we are a competitive bunch so be sure there will be more ideas too and we are looking forward to support more.
Earlier this year as part of our volunteering programme our whole team spent time with All a Board – a local charity to us located in Bristol Docks. We had a great time doing a harbour clean-up on a boat on the water! From the time we spent with their team we realised there was potential for them to receive funding, so we then let them know about Meeting Needs. We were super pleased to hear they were successful with their application.
Annually they run a School Games programme, an inclusive water sports initiative for young people aged 11–14 from schools across Bristol, South Gloucestershire and Bath & North East Somerset. The programme supports pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and those facing barriers to participation. Thanks to this funding they have already secured the total funds to be able to run this programme next year which is incredible!
