The micebook Awards brought the glamour of Masks and Mirrors at their spectacular event last week and the result was a fantastic fund-raiser for event industry foundation Meeting Needs. The micebook awards raised an amazing £11,000 in one night, reflecting well on the generosity of the event industry.
Meeting Needs chair Lene Corgan said: “We are incredibly grateful that micebook chose Meeting Needs as their charity partner for the micebook Awards once again this year. And with all the support in the room, we truly felt like the winners. Chetan Shah and the whole micebook team, thank you for giving us a platform and for all you do. When you bring the meetings and events industry together, you don’t just put on a show—you change lives. Fi Bool, thank you for taking the time and for sharing your story. It’s difficult to get a room full of event industry professionals to stop talking but you moved everyone in the room. Thank you all for giving up your evening to sell raffle tickets. We rely on our volunteers and could not do this without you! And thank you to everyone who donated a prize or purchased a raffle ticket. You make all the difference.”
