Technology-driven international event management giants Cvent partnered with Meeting Needs, the event industry charity foundation, to raise cash for good causes this week.

Cvent Excellence Awards Europe was staged in connection with the annual Cvent connect Europe conference at the InterContinental London – The O2, raising £5925 from raffle ticket sales and a ticket donation from Cvent of £1200.

Meeting Needs chair Lene Corgan said: “Cvent has been a great supporter of Meeting Needs, previously sponsoring the Meeting Needs runners at the Royal Parks Half Marathon. Last night we were delighted to partner with them for their Excellence Awards, bringing together event professionals and hospitality leaders from across the region. A big thank you to Felicia Asidue, Marketing Director, Europe and the Cvent team for having us as part of their evening. The cash raised will fund a significant project for us and change lives.”
