Our group of volunteers works hard to improve lives in the UK and overseas and has raised millions of pounds to help others since it was founded 22 years ago.
Let me give you one example: this month we agreed to fund the construction of six toilets and four handwashing stations so 240 children aged 4-6 will have access to modern toilets for the first time at a school in Ethiopia.
The project will cost £10,000 and will take eight months to complete. Five education staff will also benefit from the project while a further 60-80 children will benefit for every year with new child intakes.
