Project Description
This UK-based charity provides support to people with learning difficulties and “high support” needs.
We were pleased to provide a grant of £2,750 to purchase walking aids to support 60 children. The charity is working with physiotherapists in the Varna region of Bulgaria in support of a project to resettle children from institutional care environment back into the local community.
This is wonderful news – thank you so much ! I know, for example, that several children still lack wheelchairs. The funding will make a real difference to the lives of many of these damaged and disadvantaged children.
