Events industry registered charity Meeting Needs has made a donation of £5000 to the Nepal Earthquake fund after an executive committee meeting this week. Meeting Needs usually focuses on small projects where it can take ownership of outcomes and measure impact but the board felt the seriousness of the circumstances required a response from the industry.Beneficiary Liaison Officer Jennifer Jenkins said: “We don’t normally get involved in larger appeals but our guidelines do provide for us to be able to make such donations in special circumstances and we felt the gravity of the damage from both events required a demonstration of our support for those who have lost loved ones and homes.”
