M&IT Awards Dinner Raffle For Meeting Needs Raises £12,000

We are very delighted to say that following our success with the online charity auction, which raised more than £31,000 last week, at the M&IT Awards Dinner on Friday evening another £12,000 was raised from the raffle of prizes, kindly donated by Rome Cavalieri, Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Celtic Manor Resort and Warwick Race Course, making a wonderful combined total of £43,000. We have a number of projects awaiting funds so this is great news. The audience at the dinner were clearly moved to participate in the raffle by the words of our Chair Jennifer Jenkins who gave a great presentation along with Project Harar’s Victoria Clare highlighting some of the very important work they do in Ethiopia that is supported by contributions from Meeting Needs.
